Suzhou is known for its classical gardens and water villages. Inspiration for the design concept was drawn from geometric design motifs found in the traditional architecture seen throughout the city. The design contemporizes and abstracts traditional geometry and shapes into a faceted design motif that is repeated throughout. This design element harkens to the star of the siren, creating a tie between Starbucks and Suzhou.
